Grey’s Anatomy Season 10 Spoilers: New Sets Mean “Major Plot Point” for Longtime Couple

We’re just a little more than a month out from the long-awaited return of Grey’s Anatomy, and you know what that means: time for the spoilers to start rolling in!

So what can we expect for the second half of Season 10? According to TV Line, something big for one of the longtime couples on the show is going to happen — we’re talking “major plot point” — and it’s going to involve new sets that were recently built for the show that have the potential to become permanent.

Okay, let’s try and decode this. First, we have to brainstorm our longtime couples. Meredith and Derek and Callie and Arizona are the first that come to mind. MerDer needing a new set? We know they’re probably not ditching the McDreamhouse so soon — and if they are, we’ll gladly take it off their hands. Could it have to do with Derek’s new job offer from the president? Maybe a temporary DC residence or an office for Derek to work with POTUS?

And if it’s Callie and Arizona who are the couple in question, we’ve got a feeling the new set could be an adorable house for them to live in with Sofia like the one they almost bought before Arizona did you-know-what with you-know-who and everything kind of imploded. Now that they’re back together, maybe they’re considering adding to their family again?

Also, just a thought: Could this mean April and Jackson are finally getting together and maybe they’re taking a big step and moving in together? The new set could be a house or an apartment for them to live in and be in love forever and ever. We’re probably just dreaming, but please let us.

What do you think the new sets and “major plot point” will mean for Grey’s? Sound off with your thoughts below!
