Grey’s Anatomy Season 10: Do You Want Lauren to Return?
On Grey’s Anatomy, it’s not uncommon for a character to up and disappear. Sometimes it’s at the end of their arc and feels natural, but other times it is very abrupt and either adds or takes away drama from a storyline. In the case of Lauren, the craniofacial specialist that Arizona cheated on wife Callie with, it looks like it will be the latter.
It was recently revealed that the show appears to have no plans for Lauren to return at the moment, which means there will be no risk of Arizona rebounding with her, or even moving on to a new relationship if she can’t work things out with Callie. This isn’t to say that we think Calzona is headed for divorce for sure; in fact, we don’t even know if they’ll get separated or just go to counseling. However, if they did split up, it’s inevitable that one or both of them will move on and date someone new (as much as it breaks our hearts).
With that being said, do you think it’s the right decision to have Lauren written off, or should she stick around for drama in the storyline and to add a physical reminder of Arizona’s infidelity? Given the screaming match in the final minutes of the Season 9 finale, we’re sure that Callie and Arizona’s problems are far from over, so removing Lauren from the equation could allow them to address other issues, like the leg amputation and Callie “acting like she was in the crash.”
Sound off with if you think Lauren should stay or go in the reaction buttons, and then hit the comments with your reasoning!
