As we've previously reported, the Grey's Anatomy writers room is currently on hiatus — but that doesn't mean the writers don't already have big plans for Season 10.

Grey's writer and producer Tony Phelan recently tweeted about the hiatus, adding, "Get ready - cause there's a whole mess of drama coming in Ep. 1001-1003 & then ... the 200th ep!"
We're already bracing ourselves! Between Richard's possible death, Callie and Arizona's explosive fight, Cristina and Owen's breakup, and the new MerDer baby, there are a lot of high stakes plotlines in play when the season kicks off. And this being Grey's Anatomy, we expect the writers will milk the drama for all it's worth.
Soon after that tweet, Tony also tweeted this message: "Questions will be answered-lives and loves drawn together/torn asunder. We're listening, but 'The course of true love never did run smooth.'"
While Tony didn't explicitly say that he was talking about Grey's, that seems like a good assumption given the timing of the tweets and the fact that Grey's is his main job. And we gotta say, we don't like the sound of "loves ... torn asunder" or "We're listening, but 'The course of true love never did run smooth.'" Maybe we're just paranoid, but that Shakespeare quote immediately makes us think of Callie and Arizona, and it does not sound good.
