Grey’s Anatomy Season 10 Midseason Premiere Spoilers Roundup: What to Expect From “Take It Back” (UPDATE)

Grey's Anatomy ended 2013 with an emotional bang, and tonight, February 27, 2014, we'll finally get the payoff after a long winter break. We hope the winter premiere will be able to live up to our sky-high expectations. After that long a wait, we want to kick off the second half of the season with something suitably juicy!

So, what do we have to look forward to when we tune in tonight? We've gathered all of the biggest spoilers about the winter premiere right here for your reading pleasure.

It picks up where it left off. According to Jesse Williams, the next episode starts off with the full aftermath of Jackson's impulsive declaration of love at April's wedding. Spoiler alert: People get hurt. Especially Stephanie and Matthew, who are the innocent victims in all this.

Derek reneges on his promise. As the official synopsis explains (and this sneak peek shows), Derek does decide to join the presidential committee — which leads to some hurt feelings on Meredith's part, since he's going back on his promise. Oh, and also... Derek might have a love child?! We really don't know what to make of that spoiler. But it's not all bad news in MerDer land, since this episode also involves some "sweet reminders of what MerDer has been through together."

Big Calzona Drama. The synopsis also teases that Callie and Arizona "decide whether or not to move forward together." It looks like we are in for a big fight between these ladies before that decision is made.

Alex's anger. Meanwhile, the official synopsis says that Alex is "furious after returning to the hospital and hearing the news about his father," (who is not yet dead, but getting there) and we know there's some intense stuff with Jo coming up, too.

Bailey learns something about Ben. The synopsis also teases that "Bailey realizes she was wrong about the motive behind Ben’s decision to move back to Seattle." Hmm. We know the pair get in a big fight, so we assume that's where the truth comes out. But what is the truth? We thought Ben moved back because he wanted to be with his family. Is there more to the story?

A big group event. There will be a scene involving Callie, Meredith, Derek, Cristina, Arizona, Richard, Jackson, and Owen. Sounds like a board meeting (since Owen sometimes goes to those as chief) to us! Wonder what they are convening about this time (assuming our guess is right).

Catch the midseason premiere tonight, February 27, 2014, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
