Ready for a little light time travel? Tonight’s American Idol will take us back to the 1980s when the hair was big and the songs even bigger.
The Top 8, including Sam Woolf who escaped elimination last week thanks to the sole save of Season 13, will be hitting the '80s with their best shot. It should make for a pretty entertaining evening seeing as most of them weren’t around 30 years ago.
Ready to see what the contestants picked for their retro performances? Get out the hairspray. It’s '80s Night!

Unfortunately, dreamboat judge Harry Connick, Jr. didn’t quite get the memo about tonight’s theme. “wait - i thought the #idol theme this week was 1880s. now i have to return my top hat and ditto suit. thanks a lot, @AmericanIdol,” he tweeted earlier today. We say wear the hat, Harry!
