Dancing With the Stars Season 18, Week 2: Best and Worst Performances

Dancing With the Stars Season 18, Week 2 wasn't as strong as the premiere. The stars are still adjusting to only have one week to learn their dance, and many of them ended up with tough styles for Week 2.

Still, there were some impressive performances — and some major flops. Here are Wetpaint Entertainment's picks for best and worst of the night. See our selections, and then share your own choices in the comments below!

Best: Meryl Davis and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Swing

Mistakes or no, this dance rocked. The choreography was a blast, the throws were to die for, and Meryl danced the heck out of it.

Score: 27/30.

Honorable Mention: Amy Purdy and Derek Hough, Swing

Maybe we just really like Swing? This was another favorite of the night. It wasn't as jaw dropping as Meryl and Maks' dance, but it was cute, sharp, and proved that Amy really has dancing chops.

Score: 24/30.

Billy Dee Williams and Emma Slater, Tango

We're glad Billy Dee lasted past Week 1, since he seemed so bummed with his performance last week, but the fact of the matter is he's just not physically up to this show. We love his style, but he barely danced.

Score: 15/30.
