Dancing With the Stars Season 18, Week 5 Best and Worst Performances

Dancing With the Stars Season 18, Week 5 brought a little Disney magic to the ballroom. The fun theme clearly inspired some of the stars to bring their best work to the table, while others didn't quite live up to the classic songs they were dancing to.

So who had a magical night, and who needs to make a wish upon a star to survive next week? Here are Wetpaint Entertainment's picks for best and worst of the week.

Best: Danica McKellar and Valentin Chmerkovskiy, Quickstep

This is the best Danica has been. The Quickstep really suits her, and Val's choreography was wonderful.

Score: 39/40.

Honorable Mention: James Maslow and Peta Murgatroyd, Contemporary

Did this dance deserve the first perfect score of the season? Probably not. This Contemporary wasn't better than, say, some of the dances Meryl has done. But we do give James a lot of credit for the emotionality he displayed. He really is more than just the "hot guy," and we could see him going all the way.

Score: 40/40.

Worst: Drew Carey and Cheryl Burke, Quickstep

Drew did his best to bring the fun factor, but sloppy footwork and that distracting "concentration face" Carrie Ann mentioned made this a flop.

Score: 28/40.
