Dancing With the Stars Season 18: Who Had the Best Story Week Dance?

The judges had their say, now it’s your turn: Which couple, in your genuinely esteemed opinion, had the best routine of Dancing With the Stars Season 18, Week 3’s “Most Memorable Year” theme?

Whether it’s your head or your heart voting, the top nine couples offered an embarrassment of riches. At the top of the leaderboard were Meryl Davis and Maksim Chmerkovskiy with a magical Foxtrot that moved Carrie Ann Inaba to tears. At the bottom was Drew Carey, whose love for his son moved him to tears, even if his Waltz wasn’t perfect. (Props to young Connor for his smooth hit on Cheryl Burke. Look out, ladies!)

In the middle of the pack were seven other gorgeous, heartfelt routines — including Danica McKellar’s Contemporary dance for her grandmother and son, James Maslow’s Jive transformation from a bullied kid to pop star, Cody Simpson’s surf Jazz for his family, NeNe Leakes’s Rumba of love for her husband (featuring Tony Dovolani’s sextacular 40-year-old abs), Candace Cameron Bure’s Jive for a girl’s journey to womanhood, Charlie White’s “Happy” Olympic Jive, and Amy Purdy’s Contemporary dance of gratitude for her dad’s gift of life.

With so many beautiful routines, it’s hard to pick a favorite — but you can’t really go wrong with any of them. So whose dance was the best, to you? Vote in the poll below — and hit the comments, if you care to, to explain why this one was your fave!

I can't pick!

Such a good week!
