Once Upon a Time Season 2 Finale Questions: Is Peter Pan Running the Home Office? Will Rumbelle Survive?
We love all ofOnce Upon a Time’s many, many mysteries, but sometimes it seems like each episode introduces more questions than answers. To that end, we’ve tackled the 10 biggest questions from this week’s finale in order to make sense of everything that happened.
When Hook says people do anything for their kids, is he just feeling protective of Bae — or might he be his biological father? After all, when the seer told Rumple that Milah is pregnant, she doesn’t actually say it’s his. Maybe Hook had already been making stops at the port? If so, we really hope Emma and Hook don’t get together, or that’d make for one awkward family reunion.
2. Is Peter Pan running the “home office”?
With Tamara and Greg taking Henry on a fun little trip to Neverland, it appears that Peter Pan is in charge of the People Who Hate Magic (or whatever their group is called). But we don’t know why he would want to get rid of magic, since Neverland itself appears to be a pretty magical place. Maybe he wants to be the only one with magic? That selfish jerk.
3. Where did that drawing of Henry come from?
Henry would be well-advised to get a restraining order against whoever has that picture of him — especially since the likeness seemingly existed hundreds of years ago. So does time move differently in Neverland — or did that pic come from some kind of prophet? We’re guessing that’s one pic that Henry won’t be tagging himself in on Facebook.
4. Does the picture of Henry mean he’s Peter Pan?
The fact that we still haven’t caught a glimpse of Peter Pan makes us wonder if he’ll end up being someone we’ve already met. And given that we got a detailed description of how a shadow can be removed from a person, we’re wondering if Henry is Peter Pan, and his shadow is the one who’s looking for him. Perhaps the shadow just wants to be reunited with his body?
5. Does this mean Tamara is indeed Tinkerbell?
We can’t imagine Tamara taking part in this mission just to do Greg a solid — and given that she now appears to have a connection to Neverland, we’re still not letting go of the possibility she’s Tinkerbell. Then again, you’d think Tink would have access to fairy dust, instead of resorting to a taser.
When everyone learns that Greg and Tamara took Henry to Neverland, Gold warns that the guy who’s responsible is quite the force to be reckoned with. So it would thus appear that Gold knows Peter Pan — but what exactly is their relationship? And why does Gold have such weird friends?
7. The show can’t keep Rumple and Belle apart again —can it??
Seeing Rumbelle together is the happiest we’ve been in a very long time — that is, until the two part ways again. Not cool. We can’t imagine that Gold’s shield will manage to keep him out of Storybrooke for too long, but we do wonder how soon it will take for the two to be reunited yet again.
8. Just how magical will Emma get?
Emma hasn’t let her magical flag fly much this season, but we wonder if that’ll change next season. We also love that the two moms teamed up on Mother’s Day — although we’re guessing Henry now has to find a Mother’s Day card at Hallmark that says something like, “Thanks so much for preventing our town from self-destructing.” Good luck with that, Henry.
9. How did Prince Phillip come back?
We doubt Graham will spring back to life anytime soon, but at least one OUAT hottie has, as Phillip seems to be back to his old self. The last we’d seen, Aurora learned from Cora that his soul might have traveled to a different world — but we still don’t know why he’s now suddenly conscious. Whatever the reason is, we’re not complaining.
10. Is Gold done killing Henry — and Hook done hunting his croc?
Now that Gold is helping with the Henry search, we’re hoping his half-hearted quest to kill Henry is on the backburner for good. And speaking of grudges being put to rest, has Hook in fact put an end to his revenge mission against Gold? So many calm people in Storybrooke this week!
