Nashville Season 2 Spoilers: Premiere Synopsis Revealed — Is Deacon Going to Jail?

Last week we brought you plenty of pictures from the Nashville Season 2 premiere, "I Fall to Pieces,” and now we have an official synopsis, courtesy of ABC. So, what happens when the sophomore season opener picks up right after last season’s near-fatal crash? Read the complete synopsis below:

“After the crash, Rayna is in a coma and Deacon is left to wait on his pending jail sentence. Teddy is still shell-shocked about Peggy's pregnancy and struggles to understand where he belongs — is it by Rayna's side with his daughters? Meanwhile, Maddie grapples with the revelation that Deacon is her father and, feeling alone, turns to Juliette, unwittingly revealing the details of what happened before the traumatic crash. And Gunnar and Scarlett's relationship becomes even more complicated after the proposal, so they turn to their friends, Will and Zoey, for support.”

Just as the synopsis states, we know that Rayna Jaymes (Connie Britton) and Deacon Claybourne (Charles Esten) will both be faced with the consequences of the crash — which might include jail — while Teddy Conrad (Eric Close) deals with Peggy’s (Kimberly Williams Paisley) unexpected pregnancy.

We know less about Maddie Conrad’s (Lennon Stella) conversation with Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere), but we look forward to the arrival of Scarlett O’Connor’s (Clare Bowen) BFF, Zoey.

Nashville Season 2 premieres on September 25 at 10 p.m. ET. Will you be watching? Tell us below!
