The Revenge Season 2 finale was chock-full of typical Hampton’s antics like a death, an explosion, and one big reveal. Emily Thorne spent her first two years trying to conceal her true identity from almost everyone around her, but on last season’s finale, she finally told childhood bestie Jack Porter that she is the real Amanda Clarke.
In the wake of that huge reveal, show star Emily VanCamp (Emily Thorne) has started to wonder if it’s “the beginning of the end” for her on-screen counterpart, calling her character’s decision to come clean a “bold move.”
During a chat with ET Online, Ms. VanCamp (joined by co-star Gabriel Mann) spoke about the possible consequences of last season’s surprising twist. “The first episodes of Season 3 might be the beginning of the end for Emily Thorne," she dished.
As we have already seen, thanks to the first sneak peek of Season 3, the premiere episode’s first 60 seconds will consist of a flash-forward of Emily in a wedding dress moments before she is shot by someone off screen.
"It's about six months later. … Nolan is in prison, the Graysons are broke, Conrad is governor,” Emily explains.
And while we know Season 3 includes at least one wedding, we have no idea who Ems’ groom will be. She’s currently engaged to Daniel Grayson, but Jack and fellow Revenger Aiden Mathis have also been vying for her heart, something Emily VanCamp is acutely aware of.
“She's like the Hamptons whore, man, she just gets some all over the place," the actress joked.
