The Official Synopsis

We'll start with the official synopsis of the episode, which sheds a little light on where the story is headed.

With the deadly Dreamshade coursing through David’s body and close to death, Hook takes him on one last journey to find a sextant that could help them decipher a map that would lead them off Neverland. Meanwhile, in the Fairytale Land that was, Killian Jones — aka Hook — and his brother, Captain Liam, sail off under orders of the King to find a powerful indigenous plant on an uncharted land that could help heal any injury.

As the promo suggests, it sounds like the episode is all about Hook. We can't say we're complaining! It also sounds like Hook's backstory might have some connection to Charming's current predicament, which is good. We're sure the show wouldn't kill off its dashing leading man, but we're still eager to see Charming healed ASAP. Based on the promo, the backstory will also delve into Hook and Peter Pan's past, which should be very interesting.

A "Hook"-up

This episode will also feature a moment many fans have been impatiently awaiting (and others deeply dreading): Hook and Emma's first kiss!

Check out the sneak peek below.

This clip tells us a few things. First, it appears Hook has done something to save Charming's life. Did he find a cure for the poison, or was this a more mundane example of, say, stopping some Lost Boys from slicing off his head? Second, Emma and Hook's chemistry translates into one hell of a kiss. Third, despite that hell of a kiss, Emma insists that it's a one-time thing. Sorry, Captain Swan shippers. Sounds like they aren't going to be skipping through the forest holding hands any time soon.
