Between the shouting, spending, drinking and drug abuse allegation hurling, it’s hard to imagine how the Shahs of Sunset would ever top the drama of Season 2. But fiery cast-member Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi says buckle up, ‘cause here comes Season 3.
Understandably, it took a lot for everyone to gather the strength to film again in the wake of last season’s emotional finale. But once the cameras did start to roll, the Shahs were in fighting form. Speaking exclusively with Wetpaint Entertainment, GG gives us a taste of what’s in store.
Wetpaint Entertainment: When we left off at last season’s reunion, you weren’t on very good terms with most of the cast. What happened directly after that?
Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi: I definitely distanced myself from everyone for a while. What happened at the reunion made me reevaluate my friendships and made me much more cautious about what people will do in order to get attention on TV. When I was ready, I began reconnecting with people individually to let them know where I stood and what I will and won’t tolerate.
Coming out of the reunion, how did you feel about your own behavior?
I was actually very disappointed in myself. I felt like I didn’t stand up for myself as much as I should have or say everything I wanted to say. There are a lot of things I wish I had said that I didn’t.
How will Season 3 top the past two seasons?
Season 3 is very, very emotional. It’s really personal for all of us. It’s the most personal season yet. Now, we’re all getting older so different things become more relevant. The level of emotion is higher than ever.
Shahs of Sunset airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo.
