Scandal Season 3 Mid-Season Finale Spoiler: Another Betrayal?

Backstabing is a way of life for the characters that populate Scandal's intrigue and murder-driven version of DC, so we shouldn't be surprised that Katie Lowes (Quinn) is hinting that another twist of loyalty could be headed our way in tonight's Season 3 mid-season finale (Season 3, Episode 10: "A Door Marked Exit").

In last week's episode, Season 3, Episode 9: "YOLO", Quinn turned to her enemy, Charlie, for comfort of the sexual variety after a brutal torture session at the hands of her one friend. But was that the act of a destroyed soul seeking any sort of human contact, or was Quinn plotting the whole time? Who's side is she on at this point — is she still Team Pope, has she resigned herself to life as a B613 agent, or is she just out for herself? And what exactly was she planning to do to Olivia's dad at the end of the episode?

In a recent interview with The Huffington Post, Katie hinted that Quinn may have been using Charlie just as much as he was using her last week. She then promised that the truth will come out in the mid-season finale.

"Nothing is as it seems in Shondaland," Katie pointed out. "I think that in this week’s episode you will see exactly where [Quinn's] loyalties lie and if that involves Charlie. What exactly is she doing?"

We'll just have to wait until tonight to find out!

Catch the episode today, Thursday December 12 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC and tell us what you think Quinn’s up to in the comments below!
