We don't have to be Rumple to see into Once Upon a Time's future — at least when it comes to scheduling! The Season 3 premiere is still well over a month away (the new season premieres on September 29, 2013), but we already know when you should be marking your calendars for the season's post-winter hiatus return in 2014.
As we've discussed in the past, Once Upon a Time's scheduling is going to look a bit different this year. The 22 episode season will be split into two sections of 11 episodes each. The first 11 episodes will run in the fall, the second 11 in the spring, and both mini-seasons will run relatively to totally uninterrupted. Which means no more random three week hiatuses and annoying repeats!
The downside to this new spring season won't premiere until March — more precisely, Sunday, March 9, 2014 according to The Hollywood Reporter.
While getting through the cold winter months without new Once Upon a Time will be a challenge, we're still looking forward to having 11 episodes in a row come spring!
