With all the changeups coming in Season 3 of Revenge, we’ve been dying to know when the hit shoreside drama would be premiering. Today ABC announced that we can expect the show’s third installment to premiere on Sunday, Sept. 29 at 9 p.m. ET.
Show creator Mike Kelley has made his exit and executive producer Sunil Nayar has stepped in as his replacement. Hopefully under Sunil’s leadership the show will get back on track.
After a disappointing and complicated Season 2, fans were concerned that the drama might not get picked up for Season 3. But the show is working hard to get back to its roots. In the mid-season finale, Fauxmanda Clarke was killed off in a tragic boat explosion and in the Season 2 finale we lost Declan Porter.
Now it has been announced that the character of Ashley Davenport has been written off in Season 3. It really seems like the show is trying to trim some of the fat and get back to the core characters.
Hopefully this means plenty of “Nemily” action as Emily Thorne and her sexy sidekick Nolan Ross simply did not spend enough quality time together in Season 2.
