Once Upon a Time Season 3: 4 Things We Want for Snow

Once Upon a Time Season 3 is still a summer away, which means we have plenty of time to contemplate what we want to see from our favorite characters when the show returns. Today, we're delving into what we hope to get out of Snow White's (Ginnifer Goodwin) story in Season 3.

Obviously, we can't predict the actual plot lines, because so little is known about the season. But we can talk in broad strokes about what we'd love to see the writers do with Snow, based on how the season ended and what we did, and didn't, see from her this year.

Here's our Snow White wish-list for Season 3:

1. Pro-active warrior woman. Watching Snow mope around after killing Cora last season was a total bummer. Now that she's on a mission to save her grandson, we look forward to seeing Snow kick butt and take names like she did as a warrior princess turned bandit in the Enchanted Forest.

2. More backstory on how she took the kingdom. Speaking of warrior princess Snow, at some point we'd really love to see at least one or two episodes that cover how she and Charming took the kingdom. We're sure a lot of the flashback stories this season will center on Neverland and the things connected to that, but we're hoping the writers will eventually get to this.

3. Acceptance of what what happened with Cora. We've made no secret of the fact that we weren't huge fans of the concept that Snow's heart is turning black because of what she did to Cora. Yes, it wasn't totally altruistic, and the way it happened was terrible for Regina, but in the end Cora needed to die. She was trying to become the Dark One, for goodness sake. We want to see Snow come to terms with that.

4. More exploration of the Charming family dynamic. Now that they're all on a boat together, we hope to see some meaty emotional scenes between Snow, Charming, and Emma. There's still a lot to explore there, from Snow and Charming's pain about having lost 28 years with their daughter to continued negotiations about what their parent/child relationship should look like.
