Season 3, Episode 2 of Revenge — which aired on Sunday, October 6 — was called “Sins," and Episode 3 is called “Confessions,” so does that mean someone will be confessing his or her sins when the shoreside drama returns for an all-new installment this Sunday at 10 p.m. ET?
While this bunch isn’t one to atone much (if at all) Conrad Grayson (Henry Czerny) seemed to change once he was “diagnosed” with Huntington’s disease. Of course the viewers are aware that Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp) rigged Connie’s test results so it would seem like he was suffering from the debilitating illness, but Conrad is under the impression that he’s actually battling the disease.
At the end of Episode 2 we saw the Grayson patriarch in church, and in the preview for Episode 3 Conrad tells his estranged wife Victoria Grayson (Madeleine Stowe): “I’m coming clean.”
Understandably, Vicki G. freaks out and breaks a ceramic bowl, urging Conrad to think of the “ramifications” of his actions. But is he really ready to come clean?
When The Hollywood Reporter asked Revenge writer Joe Fazzio that very question he said, “In "Sins," we are beginning Conrad’s journey, and in "Confessions" we’ll see Conrad get to the place where he’s ready to confess — but perhaps there’s a step in the way of that.”
If we had to guess we’d say that “step in the way” is Victoria. Homegirl is certainly not on board with any confessions, just ask that poor bowl.
Do you think Conrad will confess despite what Victoria wants, or is he too scared of the ice queen to be moral? Vote below!
Revenge Season 3 Episode 3: “Confessions” airs Sunday night at 9 p.m. ET.
