Pretty Little Liars Season 4, Episode 2 Promo: 7 Things We Learn

Pretty Little Liars is like a puzzle, and we're always looking for any clue-sized piece to fill in the picture. And what better source of info than the promos for each new episode? A close look often reveals potential secrets about the next week, which is why we've taken a magnifying glass to the preview of Season 4, Episode 2: "Turn of the Shoe."

Here's what we've learned.

Aria upset. At :02, we see Aria freak out in her car. Is her anger Ezra related, "A" related, or about something else entirely? Is it related to the martial arts lessons she starts taking (as we see at :13)?

Mona talks to the cops. What is Mona doing talking to a cop at :04?

Hanna and a bird? Why does Hanna look so worried while looking at a bird at :04? Is must be the family parrot Mrs. DiLaurentis gives Hanna. Did he just mimic something he heard the night Ali was murdered?

The "A" lair at gone. At :06 we see what appears to be the Liars and Mona discovering the "A" lair is gone.

Trouble for Spoby? Apparently Toby fesses up to handing over the lair pretty quickly, and Spencer is not pleased. Still, we have faith that they will be all right. (As a couple, we mean — we're sure "A" will use what s/he finds in the lair to all sorts of ill ends.)

More of Ali's mom. At :14 we see what looks like Hanna and Ms. Dilaurentis talking. Hanna appears to be looking into a darkened window. Does she spot something in the Dilaurentis house?

Emily pays the price? At :15 we see Emily in the locker room looking up as if she's heard something, and then at :16 we see what looks like Em floating in the pool. Not. Good.
