Pretty Little Liars Season 4, Episode 6 Questions: What Is Ms. Grunwald Hiding? Will Ezria Get Back Together?
We love all ofPretty Little Liars’ constant thrills and surprises, but at the end of every episode, it always seems as though we have more questions than answers — and that was especially true after the most recent episode.
To that end, we’ve tackled the biggest questions from this week’s episode in order to figure out what’s really going on in Rosewood, and to pick up on any and all clues.
We still wish Emily hadn’t let the very creepy Hector make a mask of her face, as the mask is now everywhere, between the police video and the stolen car. So who is wearing the mask — and is Hector is connected to “A”? Or maybe Hector has maintained contact with Ali, meaning Ali is still alive. Either way, he wouldn’t be surprised if mask-smashing Melissa is involved.
2. Did Hanna’s mom really kill Wilden?
Hanna’s mom claims Wilden grabbed her gun on the night he died, so she ran away — but is that indeed what happened? We doubt she actually killed Wilden, but we also think she might not be giving us all the info. It’s not a good sign for her fingerprints to be on the bullets — but was the gun really used to kill Wilden? Either way, it’s not looking good for Ms. M.
3. What is Shana up to?
With Shana enrolling at Rosewood and then hopping into Jenna’s car in Ravenswood, she was doing all sorts of suspicious things this week. So why would she change schools? Also, Shana mentions that Jenna told her about Emily, which makes us wonder if this means Shana knows something about “that night” when Emily was drugged — or if Shana was there. If only one of those ravens would have dive-bombed Shana instead of Spence.
4. Was Melissa lying about Shana and Jenna?
Two episodes ago, Melissa told Spencer that Shana and Jenna weren’t all that bad and were just at the lodge last season to get a glimpse of Ali. But we’re thinking Melissa isn’t telling the truth, since Shana has now enrolled in Rosewood and appears to know something about the connection between Ali and Ms. Grunwald. But did we really think we could trust Melissa?
5. What is Ms. Grunwald hiding — and is she connected to CeCe?
We were hoping to learn more about the grumpy Ms. Grunwald, but all we really learned is that she doesn’t like to be bothered when she’s getting her hair done (and who does?). We continue to wonder whether she’s Ali’s grandmother — or is she CeCe’s mom? After all, we’re convinced CeCe may have gone to Cicero College along with having gone to Penn. Come to think of it: Where are you, CeCe?
6. Is Mike involved with “A”?
It appears Mike put on a hoodie and took his frustrations out on Connor’s car at the end of the episode after promising to Aria he’d make it up to her. (Go, Mike!) And while we loved the Aria-Mike scene, we still notice Mike is fond of causing trouble in a hoodie, not unlike “A.” So we really don’t think Mike is working with “A,” but on this show, you never know.
7. What the heck’s going on in Ravenswood?
If our town was full of suicidal ravens, weird piped-in music, old-timey cars, and that angel statue, we would move — but apparently that hasn’t crossed the minds of the people in Ravenswood. It appears we won’t be getting answers about the mysteries of Ravenswood until the spin-off airs, but we do want to know why Shana spends her free time there.
8. “A” steals the car at the end — so is Caleb “A”?
The final scene suggests that “A” is good with cars, and who in Rosewood has an aptitude for automotives? Toby and Caleb clearly know their way around an engine, but they wouldn’t be the culprits, right? Maybe Lucas knows a thing or two about cars, since he’s so knowledgeable about technology. Regardless, where is the masked car thief headed in the stolen auto?
9. Will Ezria finally get back together soon?
We couldn’t help feel nostalgic for the Aria glory days after Ezra gives Connor that epic staredown in the locker room and then comforts Aria on the steps. After seeing how much Ez still cares for Aria, they can’t stay apart for that much longer, right? Please let us be right. Then again, why was he creepily stalking her outside The Brew at the end of the episode?
10. Is it just us, or is Mike looking cuter than ever these days? Just sayin’.
It’s not like this show has a shortage of brooding bad boys, but we are not complaining one bit to have Mike back as a part of that list. Let’s just say the Montgomery kids got some good-looking genes.
What did you think of “Under the Gun”? Do you have as many questions as we do? Sound off in the comments!
