Admittedly, the new trailer does include a lot of recycled material from the first trailer, but there is some new content as well. In addition to previous declarations from Mance Rayder (Ciarán Hinds) about killing “every last man in Castle Black,” Arya (Maisie Williams) noticing that “there’s people coming,” and Cersei (Lena Headey) saying, presumably about Tywin (Charles Dance), “How can someone so consumed by the idea of his family have any conception what his actual family was doing?” we also get a new bit of dialogue from Tyrion (Peter Dinklage), who asks an unknown visitor, “Come for a last look?”
Speaking of Tyrion, we also get a shot of what looks like him running down a torch-lit corridor with someone else, plus a shot of his ex Shae (Sibel Kekilli) lounging on a bed.
Other new shots include plenty more battle scenes between the Wildlings and people on horses, leading us to believe that there will be plenty more action left over from last week’s assault on Castle Black, plus more glimpses of Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright) and company having a really hard time getting to that fancy weirwood tree. You can check out the trailer for yourself right here. Valar morghulis!
