There was a lot that went on during the Game of Thrones Season 4 finale Season 4, Episode 10, "The Children," but one thing that didn't happen was the introduction of Lady Stoneheart, AKA the murderous, revenge-driven reanimated corpse of Cat Stark (Michelle Fairley).

Lady Stoneheart is introduced at the very end of A Storm of Swords, so most book readers were expecting to see her at the end of this episode. Does that fact that she didn't appear mean she's being cut for good, or is she just being saved for next year?

At this point, we're not sure. Michelle Fairley has always talked as if she is gone for the show for good, but if she was coming back she'd keep it a secret, so that doesn't tell us much.

The show already had a lot of book material to cover this year; along with the second half of Storm of Swords, this season also dipped into material from the fourth and fifth books. It's very possible the writers decided it made more sense to just save Lady Stoneheart for next year. We hope they haven't cut her altogether!

Do you think Lady Stoneheart will appear next year, or are you afraid she'd gone for good? Do you want to see her on the show, or do you think it's better for her to be cut? Let us know in the comments below!
