Game of Thrones Season 4 Finale Synopsis: “The Children”

Can you believe we're over halfway through Game of Thrones Season 4? The finale, Season 4, Episode 10, "The Children", is just a month away, and it sounds like it's going to be an episode to remember.

Here's what the official synopses of the episode has to say about how the season closes:

"Circumstances change after an unexpected arrival from north of the Wall; Dany must face harsh realities; Bran learns more about his destiny; Tyrion sees the truth about his situation."

We know Episode 9 ("The Watchers on the Wall") will feature lots of action up north, and it sounds like the finale will continue that thread with an "unexpected arrival." We're also interested to know what "harsh realities" Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) has to tackle. Is she still ruling in Meereen? Perhaps she discovers being queen isn't easy...

It also sounds like we'll be learning more about Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright) and his mysterious powers. Given that we still have no idea what's going on there, we'll take any info we can get. Finally, the fact that Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) is even still alive at that point is encouraging. Whatever happens with the trial apparently doesn't' end in his death — at least not before the finale!
