The Governor (David Morrissey) has officially made his way back to The Walking Dead, and there’s nothing we can do about it!
We got our first glimpse at the big bad earlier this week, and now Entertainment Weekly has posted three additional photos of the one-eyed wonder. The first of the three photos seems to be taken from the scene featured in the Season 4, Episode 6: “Live Bait” sneak peek. Like the preview, the photo shows The Gov. sitting in front of what we can assume is a campfire, with a tent in the background. His hands are crossed as he calmly (or creepily?) stares intently at the flame.
But is he truly calm, or has he officially lost it? We’ll have to wait until Sunday, November 17 to find out!
In the second photo we see The Governor in the daylight. His navy blue button-down is dirty and his hands are bloody and raw, but he actually doesn’t look that bad for someone who has presumably been on the move for months after he turned on his own people and fled Woodbury. His hair is unkempt, yes, but he’s not injured and is still rocking what looks like a pricey watch on his wrist. Even after the world is over it’s important to know what time it is!
The third photo is a lot the second, showing the disheveled Governor in the daytime. It’s clear that he’s addressing someone not shown in the picture, but we’ll have to wait a few more days to find out who he’s talking to. Our money is on Martinez (Jose Pablo Cantillo) and Shumpert (Travis Love).
