The Walking Dead Season 4: Is Terminus Really a Utopia? (VIDEO)

The more signs we see for this “Terminus” place, the more curious we become about what it actually entails. So far we know that Tyreese (Chad Coleman) is on his way there with Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride) and the girls — Lizzie Samuels (Brighton Sharbino), Mika Samuels (Kyla Kenedy), and baby Judith — and at the end of The Walking Dead Season 4, Episode 11: “Claimed,” we found out that Michonne (Danai Gurira), Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), and Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs) had decided to give it a shot as well.

But what exactly is this “sanctuary” and who resides there? We have some theories of our own at this point, but nothing has been confirmed.

Last Sunday Talking Dead host Chris Hardwick asked his guests Mindy Kaling and Michael Cudlitz (Abraham Ford) for their Terminus theories, and this is what they came up with, which you can also check out in the video below.

“I don’t want it to have a dark underbelly that we find out about. I want it to just be a nice place with no Governor-type person there,” Mindy began. “I just want it to be good looking people giving them food, letting them exercise, maybe Rick has a girlfriend. I don’t want to find out that it’s a cult and that they sacrifice human bodies or they make walkers fight each other. Not interested.”

When Chris asked Mindy if she “really want them to find a Utopia?” The Mindy Project star held her ground and Michael jokingly agreed. “Terminus is an awesome place with a big old carousel, and everybody lives happily ever after,” he revealed.

It’s obvious that the two TV stars were just having a little fun, but we should find out more about Terminus in the coming weeks. Maybe Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and Beth Greene (Emily Kinney) will even see a sign for this mysterious locale at the end of this Sunday’s Episode 12: “Still.”

What do you think about Terminus? Check out the clip below and tell us your thoughts and theories in the comments!

The Walking Dead Season 4 airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
