The Walking Dead Season 4: Star Jokes Daryl “Definitely” Dies This Sunday

Are you sitting down, Walking Dead fans? Because we’ve got some terrible news for you. Sort of. TWD newbie Josh McDermitt, who plays Eugene Porter on the AMC hit hosted a Twitter question and answer with his followers today, February 27, and he uttered (or should we say, typed?): Daryl dies!

Heres what went down: Josh had some free time on Friday afternoon so he decided to spend a few minutes answering questions from his fanbase, which has grown considerably since he debuted on TWD two weeks ago. Most of Josh’s questions involved that epic mullet he’s been rocking as Eugene, but one curious fan went so far as to ask Josh who he thinks will die on this Sunday’s episode.

And this is where he had a little fun at the expense of our hearts.

“Definitely Darryl #oops,” he replied. Clearly he’s joking and we appreciate the humor, but it’s always tough when people joke about Daryl’s fate, especially since he’s sharing an episode with Beth this Sunday, March 2. In the past, TWD has given certain characters more focused episodes right before killing them off. May Hershel Greene rest in peace. To be fair, they killed of The Governor too, but we were much less upset about that death.

What do you think of Josh’s joke? Did it give you a laugh, or is he too new to making crack’s about whether our Daryl lives or dies? Tell us your thoughts below!

The Walking Dead Season 4 airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
