The Walking Dead Season 4 Mid-Season Finale Synopsis: “Imminent Danger” Ahead

It’s hard to believe that The Walking Dead Season 4 mid-season finale is already here, but alas tonight concludes the first half of the season, and after December 1 we will be Walking Dead-less at least until mid-February.

We know that the mid-season finale, “Too Far Gone,” will feature a face-off between Team Prison and The Governor (David Morrissey) and that this epic battle will likely include at least one major fatality. The sneak peeks and promo we’ve seen so far don’t give us much information beyond that, but what about the synopsis?

AMC’s official synopsis for Season 4, Episode 8 reads: “After things begin to calm at the prison, Rick and the group face imminent danger.” Like all synopses before it, this one is brief and vague. We didn’t learn anything new about Sunday’s episode, but the threat of “imminent danger” has been outlined once again.

Considering that Team Prison is still struggling to rebound from that devastating flu and The Gov. is headed towards their home with a tank, we’d say “imminent danger” is an accurate description of what awaits.

We’ve already speculated about several possible deaths that could go down this Sunday, but feel free to tell us some theories of your own below and be sure to get psyched for the mid-season finale!

The Walking Dead airs Sunday nights at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
