Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 4 Ratings Soared This Week

The past two episodes of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills have seen a shocking amount of drama so it should probably not be a big surprise that the ratings are going way up, too.

This week's Season 4, Episode 7: "Escape to Bitch Mountain" was the highest-rated episode of the season, bringing in 2.01 million viewers and a 0.9 rating in the coveted 18-49 demo. This is the first episode to draw more than 2 million total viewers.

By comparison, the Season 4 premiere drew 1.59 million viewers, and last week's episode, "Palm Spring Breakers," was seen on TV by 1.84 million people. The highest-rated episode last season was Season 3, Episode 4: "Uh-Oh, Somebody's Crying," which had 2.35 million viewers.

So what's the reason for the increase in viewership? Well, it's typical that big fights bring in big numbers, so we're guessing that lots of people wanted to see how the brouhaha in Palm Springs got resolved. And now we're hoping that those new viewers will keep watching through the rest of the season.

The ratings spike did not go unnoticed. "Hey @BrandiGlanville the ratings for #RHOBH are on fire!" tweeted Alec Shankman, Brandi's agent.

Do you like this season as much as previous ones?
