Downton Abbey Season 4: Real-Life Royal Lands a Role!

Time to give the silver an extra polish! According to the Daily Express of the UK, Flora Ogilvy has filmed a scene for Downton Abbey Season 4, which premieres in the U.S. in January.

Who the heck is Flora Ogilvy? The 18-year-old blonde is 45th in line to the throne. She's the granddaughter of the queen's cousin, Princess Alexandra of Kent.

“There’s a lot of excitement among the royals and they will almost certainly be watching the new series now,” a Downton insider told Express. Another added, "Downton was already the poshest show on the box but having actual royalty pushes it onto a whole new level."

Flora doesn't actually have a main role; in fact, she's said to just be an extra. She taped her scene during her "gap" year before starting at St. Andrews University in Scotland, which is also where Kate Middleton and Prince William met. Check out a photo of Flora, alongside other royals, include new mom Kate and Prince Harry. We’ll have to keep an eye out for her when DA4 finally arrives.
