Unfortunately for Mark fans, you shouldn't expect to see a lot of him — at least not this season.
"I'm in one episode," he explained to Metro. "I went over to Belfast and did the scene there."
That said, Mark also points out that in the books, his character doesn't show up until much later in the story, which "apparently" means that there's potential for him to return to the show in the future. In his interview with Metro it sounds like Mark's not really sure of his future on Game of Thrones, but he could also be holding back on the details to hide spoilers.
Mark did give a small taste of what Tycho is like — namely, that he's not someone you should expect to see disrobing, unlike so many of the other characters.
Mark's openly gay, and when he was asked if he'd be open to doing a sex scene on the show, he replied, "It’s filled with the fittest men on television, so I wouldn’t be averse to it. It’s very unlikely with my character, though. He’s a bit like [former British Prime Minister] John Major."
