Pretty Little Liars Season 4 Summer Finale Is “Cutting Edge”

Tomorrow marks the last day of filming on the Pretty Little Liars summer finale. What do the PLL Powers That Be have to say about the summer’s climactic episode (Season 4, Episode 12)?

“The summer finale is ‘Cutting Edge,’” PLL showrunner Marlene King tweeted yesterday, dropping yet another clue about the “don’t blink” episode.

Hopefully, she's referring to the awesome 90s ice skating film of the same name that saw a spoiled figure skater and a has-been hockey player team up to form an Olympic figure skating team...and fall in love. OK. We may be letting our excitement run away with us with this one, because we’re not really sure how that particular plot could come into play on PLL. But it would be awesome.

Another possibility is that Marlene is referring to something that is literally sharp, some sort of blade perhaps. PLLers have been dropping magic hints left and right. Could the “cutting edge” refer to the classic magic trick that sees someone seemingly sawed in half on stage? On PLL, we could actually see this happening...

What do you think Marlene is saying about the summer finale with her clue? Share your theories in the comments below!
