Game of Thrones Season 4: Which New Character do You Want to See Next?

Game of Thrones Season 4 is just a couple tantalizing months away, and HBO continues to find new ways to sate our appetite for anything related to what awaits us on April 6. The latest crumb is a group of promotional photos from the new season, featuring some new faces like Oberyn Martell, Ellaria Sand, and the new Daario. However, there are still several new characters whom we still haven’t gotten a good look at. So who are we most hoping to sneak a peek at next?

Mace Tyrell. The bumbling patriarch of the Tyrell clan has yet to make an appearance, and we’re anxious to see the character come to life. A power player from the A Song of Ice and Fire books who is ambitious but incapable, we’re interested to see how he makes the transition from page to screen.

The Mountain. We’ve gotten very brief glimpses of newcomer Thor Bjornsson as the Hound’s beastly brother, but we really want to see this brute in action. We assume Thor’s going to be menacing in the role, but we still want to see for ourselves!

Styr. Styr should be one of the more exciting additions to the show as a vicious wildling leader and enemy of Jon Snow, and we really want to see what he looks like. In the books, he’s described as hairless with no ears — pretty freaky, so we’re anxious to see if he’s as creepy on the show.

Hizdahr zo Loraq. Judging from the trailer, we know Dany’s at war with someone, but we haven’t seen her chatting with Hizdahr at all. We really can’t wait to see the dynamic between these two, since it should be an important plot point moving forward.

Three Eyed Raven. We barely see Bran Stark at all in the trailer, let alone this new character who should be very central to Bran’s story. We’ve seen the bird version of the Three Eyed Raven every season going back to Season 1, so we’re bursting with excitement to see what its human incarnation looks like!

Which new character are you most excited to see? Sound off in the comments!
