Pretty Little Liars Season 4 Winter Premiere Is “Emotional”
There’s been a lot of excited chatter about Pretty Little Liars’ Season 4 winter premiere. So much, in fact, that we’re almost okay with going through a mid-season hiatus to wait for it. What is the latest scuttlebutt to come out of Camp PLL regarding Season 4, Episode 14?
“I think the power in 414 is emotional,” tweetedPLL writer Joseph Dougherty, who penned the ep - an interesting comment to make considering so many of the PLL finales and premieres focus on shock! and revelation! PLL showrunner Marlene King recently described the winter premiere table read “phenomenal.” What kind of phenomenal, emotional scene-age can we expect?
Well, our main thought is that this is going to be a particularly emotional episode considering Caleb’s departure to Ravenswood, which is supposed to start in the previous episode (Season 4, Episode 13, aka the Halloween special). Marlene has said that Caleb will be in the winter premiere, which might mean that the Haleb’s heartbreaking goodbye will somehow be in this ep rather than the Halloween special. So, don’t think your Haleb feels are over post-Halloween.
We also know that this is going to be a big episode for Ezria, who has been mostly estranged thus far this season. Marlene tweeted, “Don’t say I never gave you anything #Ezria” in regards to the winter premiere, sending our shipper speculation into overdrive. Might Ezria be having their long-awaited reunion? That would certainly rank high on the PLL emotional barometer.
What emotional scenes do you think are going down in the winter premiere? Sound off in the comments below!
