Glee Season 5: 3 Things We Want For Blaine

Since he made his debut in Season 2, Blaine Anderson has been one of Glee’s most memorable characters. From his aww-inducing relationship with Kurt, his swoon-worthy voice, and his signature bow-ties, Blaine is the object of every Gleek’s affections. So it should come as no surprise that we want nothing more for Blaine in Season 5 than to see him be happy, especially after all the emotionally torment he went through in Season 4.

But what else do we want for Blaine come Season 5? Here’s what we here at Wetpaint Entertainment want to see happen for our favorite Warbler.

To be happy with Kurt. To pop the question or to not pop the question? Who cares! We know Klaine fans are dying for a proposal this season — and it looks like they’ll get one! — but as long as these two lovebirds are happy, we’re a-OK with whatever they decide. Now, we hope they don’t rush down the aisle after Blaine gets down on one knee (after all, he’s still in high school), but we’d like to see Klaine take a huge step forward in their relationship. After spending most of Season 4 broken up, we think Blaine and Kurt deserve some happiness (so stay away, Sebastian!). Plus, seeing how Kurt is about to lose his step-brother and close friend Finn, he’s going to need Blaine now more than ever.

Another “Teenage Dream” moment. Let’s face it: Glee has yet to produce a moment as memorable, or as magical, as Blaine’s debut in Season 2. When he sang “Teenage Dream” with the Warblers, not only did he capture Kurt’s heart, but he also captured ours. Sure, he covered the song again in Season 4 in another pivotal moment that lead to the breakup heard ‘round the world, but it didn’t have quite the same effect — the butterflies were replaced with overwhelming sadness. So let’s hope Blaine gets another chance to charm us in Season 5. Of course, reuniting with the Warblers is a great start!

Meet the family. If Blaine asks Kurt to marry him, then it’s about time he invites him over for an Anderson family dinner. We know very little about Blaine’s family — other than his rivalry with his older brother Cooper and some daddy issues — so Season 5 would be a great time for Gleeks to meet the Andersons. Obviously, we’re wishing the Glee Powers That Be bring back Matt Bomer to reprise his role as Blaine’s swoon-worthy big bro Cooper.

Gleeks, what do you want to see happen to Blaine this season? Do you think he and Kurt should get married? Sound off in the comments!

Catch the Season 5 premiere of Glee on Thursday, September 26, 2013, at 9 p.m. ET on FOX.
