Pretty Little Liars Season 5, Episode 11 Review — Melissa’s Big Confession

Pretty Little Liars Season 5, Episode 11 (“No One Here Can Love or Understand Me”) is the penultimate episode of the summer season, so of course we expect all sorts of OMG moments. Did the episode live up to our expectations?

We liked this episode, though we don't think it's the best of the season. We were glad to finally get Melissa's confession, but it really didn't tell as all that much. OK, it explains why Melissa has acted the way she has over the years, but we still don't know why Bethany was there that night, why she was dressed like Ali, or who hit her in the first place.

Other than that, the episode didn't move the plot forward all that much. However, it was really, really nice to see the Liars working as a team again, and there were some nice emotional moments. We're glad Caleb finally worked through his Ravenswood trauma (though, really, we still feel like Hanna accepted the "crazy supernatural curses" thing a little easily), and everything around Mona and Aria was great. We are also pro-more Mona. Plus, Ezra made himself useful. We like when he interacts with people other than Aria.

Mostly, we're really excited to see what happens next week! Overall, we give it 4 stars.
