The Vampire Diaries Season 5, Episode 14 Spoiler Roundup — “No Exit”

Next week will bring us an all-new episode of The Vampire Diaries, and we couldn’t be more ready for it. There will be road trips, bondage, and a steamy shower scene! Don’t believe us? Check out our spoiler roundup for Season 5, Episode 14 (“No Exit”).

Damon’s vampire cannibalism is getting worse

If you thought Damon’s instincts were bad, just wait for his shenanigans now that he’s a vampire cannibal. As the official synopsis tells us: “Damon’s behavior escalates from destructive to deadly” in this episode. If you need a visual of what that might look like, check out a desperate-looking Damon bloody-mouthed and on the floor in this ominous promo shot.

Stefan (and Katherine) to the rescue!

No need to fear! Baby brother is one the way. As we learn from the synopsis, “Stefan begins to regret their last conversation and decides to track Damon down and intervene.” Katherine, who never wants to be parted from Stefan’s side, “volunteers to come along.” In the promo, you can see them breaking out Stefan’s red Porsche for the road trip.

Cue steamy shower scene

Of course, no TVD road trip would be complete without a steamy motel scene, and this one takes place in the shower. As we see in the promo, Katherine suggests staying overnight and you’d better believe she has a seduction scheme in mind. TV Guide teases: “She’s going to come really close in the first episode back when the two take a little road trip that, of course, involves a stop at a motel… and a steamy shower.”

Team Traveler has set a trap

Meanwhile, back in Denzoland, “Dr. Wes enlists the Travelers to set a trap that will once again test Damon’s friendship with Enzo.” Yikes! As we know from the extended promo, the trap involves locking the two besties in a house together. On a normal day? Not so bad, considering these two spent years together as cellmates. When Damon is hungry for vampires and Enzo is the only snack in-house? Awkward.

Enzo’s worried

Enzo’s not taking any chances. Though, as we see in the promo, Damon promises not to eat his bestie, Enzo chains Damon to a chair as seen in this promo shot. We give those chains a half an hour tops.

Steferine arrives on the scene

It seems that Damon’s predicament has forged a tenuous bond between Enzo and Damon’s loved ones. “We’ll be there as soon as we can,” we see Katherine tell Enzo over the phone in the promo. Despite motel shower detours, it seems like Stefan and Katherine might actually end up on the scene. In this promo shot, we see Katherine and Stefan standing in the doorway of what looks like the same house Denzo is trapped in.

Elena’s friends are onto Katherine

Though Katherine may have the Salvatore brothers fooled, Elena’s besties are onto the dastardly vamp. “After a heart-to-heart talk with Nadia, Matt enlists Caroline and Tyler’s help to protect Elena,” the synopsis tells us. And, guess what? It lead to “a violent confrontation.” Eek! That must be what is going on in this promo shot that shows Caroline restraining Nadia against the wall, and this one that shows Nadia with the upper hand.

Steroline scene

Whatever happens with Nadia, we think Caroline might spill the Katherine-is-Elena beans to Stefan. The synopsis tells us: “Later, when Stefan tries to comfort a dejected Caroline, their conversation leads to a horrifying realization.” Er, does Care not put the pieces together until the end of the ep? And why is she dejected?
