The Vampire Diaries Synopsis For Season 5, Episode 14: “No Exit”

Things are getting pretty sticky on Season 5 of The Vampire Diaries. Not only has Katherine (Nina Dobrev) become a seemingly permanent passenger in Elena’s body, but Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder) is on a murder spree with Augustine bestie Enzo. But when TVD comes back from its Olympics hiatus, things are going to get shaken up.

For one, Dr. Wes Maxfield is going to turn to the Travelers for help in setting a trap that is going to put Damon’s loyalty to Enzo to the test — again. It seems like the evil doctor is just as good at hunting vamps as they are at hunting him down.

Meanwhile, Stefan (Paul Wesley) is feeling pretty guilty about his last convo with Damon (aka when he told him not to come back to Mystic Falls), and is going to set out to find him. With Damon’s behavior only getting worse now that Dr. Wes has given him the serum, we’re worried about these two bros.

Check out the synopsis for the February 27 episode:

As Damon’s (Ian Somerhalder) behavior escalates from destructive to deadly, Stefan (Paul Wesley) begins to regret their last conversation and decides to track Damon down and intervene. For reasons of her own, Elena (Nina Dobrev) volunteers to come along. Dr. Wes (guest star Rick Cosnett) enlists the Travelers to set a trap that will once again test Damon’s friendship with Enzo (guest star Michael Malarkey). After a heart-to-heart talk with Nadia (guest star Olga Fonda), Matt (Zach Roerig) enlists Caroline (Candice Accola) and Tyler’s (Michael Trevino) help to protect Elena, leading to a violent confrontation. Later, when Stefan tries to comfort a dejected Caroline, their conversation leads to a horrifying realization.
