Game of Thrones Season 5, Episode 3 Speculation: Who Will Die Next?

Game of Thrones Season 5 is only two episode in, and we’ve already witnessed the deaths of the King Beyond the Wall, Mance Rayder, and Mossador, the freedman and member of Dany’s small council in Meereen. We can’t imagine much time passing before more blood is spilled on the show, so who could be the next to die? Here are our best guesses.

Shireen Baratheon. We still say Shireen Baratheon (Kerry Ingram) is a goner. After last season’s heavy hints that Melisandre was going to burn Shireen at the Wall, we now have Shireen’s mother telling her that Wildlings are likely to murder her. With enemies seemingly around every corner, things don’t look good for Westeros’s walking Hooked on Phonics.

Barristan Selmy. Dany has really mucked things up in Meereen by killing one of her own and a favorite of Meereen’s former slave population. With the entire city now against her, someone close to her is going to face retribution. Barristan (Ian McElhinney) seems like the most likely candidate, since he seems to be the only one providing her with good advice and preventing her from being a total disaster of a leader. Plus, with Jorah gone, Barristan is Dany’s last link to Westeros, which makes him expendable since we know Tyrion is on the way.

Whoever ticks off Arya. Now that Arya (Maisie Williams) has entered the House of Black and White with Jaqen H’ghar, we can only assume she’s going to begin training to become an assassin. And that means that this angry girl who has killed several people is going to learn to become really good at killing. That doesn’t bode well for everyone else in Braavos.

Who do think will die next? Sound off in the comments below!
