Though much the Pretty Little Liars cast has been starring on the same show together for four years, there are certain cast combinations that happen rarely, which means some co-stars get less opportunity to hang out together on set. One such example of this is Troian Bellisario (Spencer) and Ian Harding (Ezra), but don’t worry! They’ll just got some quality on-set hang out time in Season 5, Episode 7. What is Spencer doing in Ezra’s apartment?

“Why @ianmharding and I are never allowed to have scenes together. My stomach hurts so bad from laughing right now,” Troian captioned a silly photo of the two actors pressing their mouths to one of Ezra’s many art pieces. Real professional, guys! (Just kidding. This is the best.)

We’re certainly intrigued by this character combination. The most we’ve ever seen Spencer and Ezra hang out was when Spencer was super suspicious of Ezra and started stalking him (and then he started stalking her right back, or should we say continued stalking her, given that he’s apparently been watching the Liars for years). Basically, they didn’t end Season 4 on the best of terms. Has that changed since Ezra took a bullet for the Liars for the Season 4 finale? Or will it turn in the beginning of Season 5? We have to admit: with Spencer’s detective skills and the amount of information Ezra has amassed while researching for his true crime novel over the last few years, these two might be the perfect duo for figuring out who “A” is. Will they be teaming up for the good of the “A” game? We kind of hope so.

Why do you think Spencer is hanging at Ezra’s apartment? Do you think Spencer and Ezra might find their way to being teammates? Sound off in the comments below!
