Pretty Little Liars Season 5, Episode 8 Review — Zach Gets Sketchy

We've had a string of strong episodes on Pretty Little Liars. Did Season 5, Episode 8 (“Scream For Me”) continue the trend?

Read on for Wetpaint Entertainment's review of the episode, and then sound off with your thoughts in the comments below!

Despite the notable absence of a few beloved characters (any episode without a healthy dose of Mona [Janel Parrish] is going to be lacking) we thought this was a solid installment.

We were particularly fond of everything involving Hanna (Ashley Benson). Ashley Benson is really selling Hanna's hurt and anger, and our hearts broke for her in her fight with Aria (Lucy Hale) (who we are very mad with right now). Zack is a total creeper though. Ew.

And speaking of the Marins, Ashley Marin (Laura Leighton) once again proved why she's our very favorite pretty little parent. And how much did we love the reveal that Alison (Sasha Pieterse) set up the break in? That girl is still scary.

We also appreciated that we got some solid forward movement on the plot, with the info that Mrs. D used to take Bethany riding and the discovery that Melissa Hastings (Torrey DeVitto) is somehow linked to the same stable. It doesn't really give us anymore answers, but at least it gave us more clues.

Oh, we're also digging the idea of Toby (Keegan Allen) becoming a cop. That could be very useful!

We give it four stars. What about you?
