Creator Ryan Murphy says that Adam is “joining the cast,” which leads us to believe he’s stopping by for a lot more than just a little guest appearance. It’s still unclear if Adam will be a recurring character or a full-time series regular, but our guess is that he’ll be on the show part time.
Though some stars might be intimidated to see a big name heading to their show — and potentially stealing some of their spotlight — Lea appeared to feel nothing but excitement about the news.
Glee’s writers are still just getting started writing Season 5, and it appears that Lea doesn’t have any inside scoop about what’s in store quite yet. Still, we definitely echo her sentiments about hoping that Adam’s character will join Rachel, Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Santana (Naya Rivera) in NYC. Can you imagine?
We can easily imagine him as one of the Broadway stars that Rachel could work with if she does, in fact, get involved with that Funny Girl revival. We’ve also heard that Kurt will bejoining a band. What if Adam was his new bandmate? Because we all know how Kurt feels about singing group frontmen...
On second thought, maybe he should just be on Broadway or something. Or anywhere else away from Kurt’s heart.
