Pretty Little Liars Season 5 Premiere: Hanna Is in Deep Thought (PHOTO)

Now that we’ve set out on the long Pretty Little Liars hiatus between Season 4 and Season 5, we love catching on-set glimpses of our favorite PLLers even more. Check out this gorgeous shot of Ashley Benson (Hanna) filming the Season 5 premiere.

“Ashley, looking like a young Catherine Deneuve, on my last day of shooting on #PLL 501,” director Norman Buckley captioned the shot of Ash looking beautifully pensieve on the camera screen. Catherine Deneuve is a French actress who became known for her portrayal of mysterious and beautiful woman for such European directors as Luis Buñuel and Roman Polanski. At 70, she is still acting. Quite the compliment for Ash!

Norman must be glad to have wrapped. The Season 5 premiere of Pretty Little Liars seemed to include some long hours, including at least one 17-hour day that had the Liars falling asleep on one another near the end. Though Norman just wrapped up the Season 5 premiere, he will be back in PLL action for Season 5, Episode 5, which just happens to be the 100th episode! He posted another behind-the-scenes photo — this time of Sasha Pieterse (Ali) and Shay Mitchell (Emily) — along with the caption: “Okay then, until next time (the 100th episode, coming up soon!) That’s a wrap on #PLL 501! Thanks to Sasha and Shay and this entire wonderful cast and crew. I love all of you!”

We can’t wait to see what the Pretty Little Liars Powers That Be put together for the 100th episode. Whatever the Marlene King-penned installment looks like, it is set to give us the biggest reveal yet, according to the showrunner. Bring it on.

Do you think Ashley looks like Catherine Deneuve? What do you think it going on in the Season 5 premiere? Sound off in the comments below!
