Pretty Little Liars Season 5 Spoilers — Who Is James Neilan? Is He Toby’s Twin?! (PHOTO)

Who is James Neilan and what might he have to do with Toby (Keegan Allen)? These were the questions raised by Tammin Sursok’s (Jenna) Instagram from the table read of a future Pretty Little Liars episode. Check out the pic!

“Calm before the storm.....#pll #jenna,” Tammin captioned the photo of the table read table in which a card with the name “James Neilan” is clearly visible in the foreground. The added catch? It is at the same place setting as the card for “Toby Cavanaugh.” Are we reading too much into this or does this photo imply that Keegan Allen will be playing another character called James Neilan? Guys, this is potentially major news. Could Toby be the character who has a twin? Is this somehow tied to the death of Toby’s mother? So many questions!

We may be getting ahead of ourselves here, especially given Tammin’s recent interview in which the actress let slip that someone on PLL has a twin sister. But, if James isn’t Toby’s twin, then who is he? Maybe James is Toby, and Toby has been lying about his identity this entire time for some reason? There are always more soap operatic explanations on which to muse.

Frankly, we’re not sure what to think about all of this, but we are excited to see that both Jenna and Toby will continue to play roles in the upcoming episodes. One never can predict when the Tobester might go out of town on one of those “carpentry jobs.” And we’ve always felt that Jenna’s days are numbered, especially after nearly drowning last season. Then again, at least she survived that house explosion. This girl has more lives than Alison DiLaurentis!

Who do you think James Neilan might be? Will he be played by Keegan or is this just a case of misplaced cards? Share your theories in the comments below!
