Pretty Little Liars Season 5 Spoilers: Spencer and Caleb Share a Special Scene

In Season 4 of Pretty Little Liars, we saw many a new character dynamic, and it sounds like that habit will be continuing in Season 5 with a lovely scene between Spencer (Troian Bellisario) and Caleb (Tyler Blackburn). Check out this heart-warming exchange between the two actors.

“You're exceptional @SleepintheGardn,” Tyler tweeted, along with a link to Troian’s recent The Hollywood Reporter op-ed on why teen shows shouldn’t be overlooked by Emmy voters (definitely worth a read).

Troian responded with some love of her own, and a hint at what’s to come for Caleb and Spencer in Season 5: @tylerjblackburn ditto Ty. Loved our scene the other day. Working with you is such a great treat. More please.”

Yes, indeed. More please. We’re certainly intrigued by this character dynamic. We haven’t seen Spence and Caleb interact much in the past, but when they have, we have gotten the impression that Caleb is looking out for all of the Liars, not just Hanna. And we think the Liars appreciate that. Not to mention that, as a computer whiz, Caleb has proved an invaluable resource in the “A” game. On a purely tactical level, we’re sure Detective Spencer appreciates that.

We wonder if this upcoming scene might have less to do with Caleb’s computer skills and more to do with the mess that is the Haleb relationship. According to Tyler, Caleb is going to return to Rosewood “lost and damaged” and to see the woman he loves with another guy. Might he ask Spencer for some advice? Or maybe she’ll give it freely, as is her way? We would love to see a heart-to-heart between these two.

What do you think the scene between Spencer and Caleb will entail? Share your theories in the comments below!
