Game of Thrones Season 5 Spoilers: What Happens in Episode 3?

The Game of Thrones Season 5 premiere is still a few weeks away, but now we can take a look even further into the show's future with the synopsis of Season 5, Episode 3 ("High Sparrow")

Unfortunately, this synopsis doesn't offer up a whole lot. Still, here it is: "In King’s Landing, Queen Margaery (Natalie Dormer) enjoys her new husband. Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) and Varys (Conleth Hill) walk the Long Bridge of Volantis."

Yep, it's a short one, but we can gather some info from it. For instance, it sounds like the wedding of Margaery and Tommen Baratheon's (Dean-Charles Chapman) either happens in one of the first two episodes of the season or, at the very least, goes down sometime in Episode 3. As for Margaery "enjoy[ing]" Tommen... Well, with this show we'd normally think that phrasing was sexual, but given Tommen's young age, we'll assume Marg has just found a way to get along with her new hubby that’s age appropriate. Or perhaps what she's really enjoying is her new power as queen?

As for Tyrion, the most interesting thing we learn from this synopsis is that he's still chilling with Varys. What are those two plotting? And will it involve more journeying for Tyrion?

We also want to point out that the title of the episode is a reference to one of our most anticipated new characters, the High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce), the leader of the Faith of the Seven. Even though the synopsis doesn't mention him, it feels safe to assume he'll play a big role this week.

Are you excited for this episode? What else do you think will happen? Sound off in the comments below!
