Vampire Diaries Season 5: Upcoming Episode Will Cause “Emotional Trauma”

So far, Season 5 of The Vampire Diaries has been filled with plenty of death, Delena moments, and doppelganger drama, but an upcoming episode is supposedly going to knock the metaphorical socks off our feet.

Writer Jeane de Vivre — whose Twitter bio reads, “Work for some vamps on TV” — shared some intel recently, tweeting, “Best Caroline line ever. #scriptreading.” We also totally empathized with her when she said, “I seriously need to care about real life people more than I do fictional characters.” Seriously, we say that every day — we love this girl.

It wasn’t until her last tweet that we were worried about what might be happening on the episode she was reading. “P.S. I might call in sick tomorrow from the emotional trauma I have and will sustain after reading this script. @julieplec @carolinedries,” she teased.

We don’t know exactly which script Jeane was reading, but we do know that the 100th episode is quickly approaching, so we can only assume that something major is going to go down in that milestone episode.

We’re still clinging to that epic Caroline line, but expecting the worst for our Mystic Falls friends. What scene do you think Jeane is referring to? Is it the 100th episode? Hit the comments and let us know!

The Vampire Diaries airs on Thursdays at 8 p.m. on The CW.
