True Blood Season 6: Who Is the Best New Character?

True Blood has gone through dozens of characters in its six seasons on-air, and Season 6 was no exception. In fact, we met quite a few new faces this year, from sexy vampires to a slew of faeries.

Though some have been featured more heavily on the show than others, given that we’re going into the finale on Sunday, August 18, we wanted to reflect back on all the newbies and find out who excited Truebies the most.

First and foremost, there’s Warlow, who turned out to be a hot guy named Ben instead of a scary vampire who wanted to kill Sookie. He does want to turn her into his eternal faerie-vampire bride, but alas, you can’t win ‘em all.

In vampire land, we also met Violet, who hissed “mine” at Jason in a far less sexy way than when Bill did it to Sookie. She fed on him while he was captured at Vamp Camp and apparently is going to do that forever. Unless she dies. On the flip side, James, Jessica’s sexy vampire boyfriend (or at least boy toy for now) is lovely, helped to save Bill, and seems to be very smart and well-versed in the world.

We can’t forget the faerie children, all of whom perished except for Adilyn. We’re just going to loop them all into one since we sadly couldn’t tell them apart. R.I.P., faeries! On a slightly less morbid note, Nicole, the supe-obsessed girl who is now pregnant with Sam’s baby, has been all around Bon Temps. Most of her friends are dead, so we won’t include them.

Lastly, we have Willa, who was turned by Eric to spite her father, Governor Truman Burrell, who was decapitated by Bill. Good times, good times. We had a feeling that Willa could be the new Sookie, but considering Eric flew into the sky without saying goodbye in Episode 9? Probably not.

I hate all of the new characters.

I love all of the new characters.
