Glee Season 6: Will Chris Colfer Be a Full-Time Cast Member? His Answer May Shock You!
We know that Season 6 of Glee will take place in an entirely different location, just as we know many familiar faces of the past will be back for the show’s final run. But we weren’t prepared for the possibility that several characters we know and love might not be back as full-time cast members for Season 6.
The wonderful Chris Colfer (Kurt) chatted with TVLine about the Glee installment he wrote — Season 5, Episode 19: “Old Dog, New Tricks” — and after he was done talking about his ep, the 23-year-old talked a bit about Season 6. He reassured us when he declared that Kurt would never break up with and then murder Blaine (Darren Criss), but when asked if he’ll be back full-time for the show’s sixth and final season, we really didn’t like his answer.
“I have absolutely no idea,” he revealed. “I have heard very little about what’s going on with Season 6, so I have no idea.” Sure, we’re well aware that his answer is vague and doesn’t mean anything at this point, but we’d never even entertained the possibility that Chris wouldn’t be back for the complete sixth season and now we can’t get it out of our heads. Still, no one has actually come out and said that Chris won’t be a series regular next season.
Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy has always said that Glee is Rachel’s show, so we expect her to be a Season 6 regular, but don’t you think Chris/Kurt should be as well? Tell us all of your feels in the comments below!
Glee Season 5 airs Tuesday nights on FOX at 8 p.m. ET.
