Our fangs are tingling at the mere thought True Blood’s next episode! The Season 6 premiere left off with one heck of a cliffhanger, as the driver who picked up Jason (Ryan Kwanten) seemed to reveal himself as Warlow.
But just what can we expect from True Blood Season 6, Episode 2? Here’s what we can tell you:
1. Lilith Gives Bill a Mandate
Remember when Bill (Stephen Moyer) was suddenly possessed by three naked and blood Liliths? Yeah, that was kind of weird. But the temporary occupation serves to show Bill what his purpose is now that he’s partaken in Liliths’ blood. She wants Bill to “complete her work,” which is not explained in detail, but involves the futures of both humans and vampires.
2. Governor Burrell Is a Sinister Dude
When someone declares war on a race of super powerful, blood-sucking creatures, he’s got to have the balls to back up that statement. In Season 6, Episode 2, we see Governor Burrell’s true colors — and get a taste of what weapons and tactics the humans are using to fight back against vamps.
3. Sookie Is Ready to Fight Back
Sookie (Anna Paquin) wants to be a regular girl. But before she can even think about returning to a lie of normalcy, she’ll have to fend off the murderous intentions of Warlow. Easy enough, right? Now that we know Warlow is Lilith’s progeny, it’s clear he’s going to be a lot more difficult to defeat than any of Sookie’s past enemies. To prepare for his return, Sookie learns how to find a powerful but very dangerous weapon from within.
4. Alcide and Sam Become Enemies
Werewolves and shifters have always had a difficult relationship. But we totally thought Sam (Sam Trammell) and Alcide (Joe Manganiello) were above such childish behavior. Turns out we were wrong! Now that Luna is out of the picture, Sam must figure out how to care for Emma. But Emma’s grandmother, Martha, won’t stand by and watch her granddaughter grow up without a werewolf influence. Enter pack master Alcide, who muscles in on the altercation and fights for Martha’s right to care for her own flesh and blood.
