Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 6 Premiere Scores Big Ratings
Great news for The Real Housewives of Atlanta! Not only did the Season 6 premiere score a personal high for the franchise, it also earned Bravo some major bragging rights. According to the latest press release from Bravo, the network snagged the top spot during the 8 p.m. hour, thanks to the Hotlanta gals!
"Sunday night’s season premiere of Bravo Media’s 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' (11/3/13) earned Bravo the #1 slot in ad-supported cable during the 8pm hour among all key demos. The network also delivered its best primetime and total day since April, according to Nielsen," the release reported.
The network was equally proud of its Southern belles for bringing in their best ratings to date.
"Additionally, the Season 6 premiere of 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' delivered over 3.1 million total viewers and marked the show’s highest-rated season premiere ever among A25-54, with over 1.9 million in the demo," read the press release.
The women themselves couldn't be more thrilled with their great achievement. Cynthia Bailey took a moment to share her excitement on Twitter and thank the fans of the show for their part in their success.
"Our #RHOA premiere did 3 million + viewers! Thanks to all of our supporters who watch the show! Tune in this Sunday! #RHOA," Cynthia wrote.
With all of the drama happening this year, between Porsha Stewart's divorce and the shade between NeNe Leakes and Kenya Moore, we're not very surprised to see Atlanta skyrocket in the viewer numbers.
